The Class 5A state championship hockey game between Culver Military Academy Varsity A and the Carmel Icehounds will be played at Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis. The coliseum is located on the Indiana State Fairgrounds, 1202 E. 38th St., Indianapolis.

Game time is scheduled for 8 p.m., Saturday, March 14. The Indiana Farmers Coliseum is completely remodeled and was recently renamed after being called the Pepsi Coliseum for several years. The state championships were played in Fort Wayne last year while the facility was being remodeled. It is now home to the Indy Fuel, an AA affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks.

Varsity A will be looking to secure its fifth state title in a row and 25th overall since the program started in 1976. The Eagles advanced to the state title game with playoff wins over Zionsville (4-2), Fort Wayne Carroll (3-1), and Carmel (3-2) over the past weekend at the Fishers Ice Arena. The Varsity A-Carmel rematch will be the final game of day, which will feature five state class championships.
