CGA: Andrea Brooke
Andrea Brooke ’19 (Bremen, Ind.) has been an offensive and defensive force for the CGA softball team. In April, Andrea batted .536 with an impressive four homeruns. Her hitting exploits have her ranked 17th in all of Class 3A softball. She is also leading the CGA varsity team with 14 RBI and a fielding percentage over .900.
According to assistant coach Dawn Brockey: “Andrea is a welcome surprise to this year’s Culver softball program. Andrea is not only a tough, seasoned softball player, but she is an excellent leader by example. She is always positive and gives 100 percent in every inning of every game.”
CMA: Matt Schmidt
CMA Prep lacrosse goalie Matt Schmidt ’17 (Worthington, Ohio) has helped guide the Eagles to an impressive 17-1 record, including 13 wins in a row against considerably talented lacrosse programs from Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
