Three Culver Girls Academy student-athletes were honored or recognized for their efforts over the summer and early into the school year.

Reese Wilson (golf)

Reese Wilson ’21 (Chicago) finished fourth at the Crown Point Invitational, shooting a 79 in her first golf match as an Eagle. In her next two outings, Wilson (top photo) won medalist honors while leading CGA to dual match win over Warsaw and first place at the Rochester Invitational. She shot a 2-below par 34 at the Culver Academies Golf Course against the Tigers. She then shot a 75 at Mill Run in Rochester.

She received The Indianapolis Star’s girl athlete of the week for golf for her effort. Last weekend, Wilson shot a 77 to finish second at the CGA Invitational at the Swan Lake Golf Club, leading the team to an overall second place finish behind Lake Central.
