The third video in Culver Academies’ Forge Your Future series is now available on our YouTube channel. The Promise provides an overview of Culver from the student perspective. Students talk about their individual Culver experiences and how it has developed them as a whole person.

Culver Academies launched its official YouTube channel on Jan. 21. The Academies is now able to showcase its Forge Your Future video series as well as offer coverage of specific events and selected student-produced videos. The first two videos in the series, Constructing Worlds of Meaning and Character On and Off the Field, covers academics and athletics, respectively.

The Forge Your Future series is designed to allow viewers to select the segments that interests them the most, Director of Strategic Marketing William Hargraves ’77 said. “The days of sitting down to a 30-minute admissions video are gone,” he explained. “Prospective students, campers, and parents can now watch videos targeted to what they are most interested in. And alumni, students, campers, and parents will enjoy reliving their favorite parts of Culver.”

With YouTube now the second most popular search engine, Culver will be able to reach out to a wider audience with its dedicated channel. It also gives viewers faster download speeds. The channel can be easily integrated with Facebook, allowing readers to share their favorite videos.

People subscribing to the channel will be notified when additional videos are added, including additional Forge Your Future videos – including Day in the Life features that follow two seniors and two freshmen. There is also a dedicated channel for Culver Summer Schools & Camps, which you can access through the Culver Academies channel.
