Culver Summer Schools & Camps will be hosting an on-campus open house for prospective families and future campers on Sunday, April 7,from 1:45-4:30 p.m.

Visiting parents and children will be able to take an in-person look at the opportunities available during the summer. Directors of the Upper (ages 13-17) and Woodcraft camps (ages 9-13) will be on hand to answer any specific questions about their camps. Instructors will also be available to talk about the over 65 elective courses offered during the summer.

Visitors will then take part in a campus tour led by current Culver students who also attended summer camp. The event will conclude with a Rough Riding exhibition in the Jud Little Riding Hall. A reception will be held downstairs in the lobby with the camp directors and a boarding school admissions representative available to answer questions.

Schedule of Events:

Open House Activities
1:45–2 p.m. – Registration in the Penske Center, Woodcraft Camp
2–2:30 p.m. – Meet camp director and visit with course instructors
2:30 p.m. – Campus tours, led by Culver students who have attended camp
3:45 p.m. – Rough Riding exhibition in the Jud Little Riding Hall

Optional Activities (on your own)
9 a.m. – Roman Catholic Mass, Memorial Chapel
10:30 a.m. – Protestant Chapel, Memorial Chapel
11:30 a.m. – Lunch available, Lay Dining Hall (fees apply)
12:30 p.m. – Garrison Parade, James A. Henderson Parade Field

Registration is required, and can be done on the summer camp website under Open House Events. Parking will be available in front of the Penske Center located in Woodcraft Camp.
