One runner, two fencers, and three rugby players will be continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level after officially announcing their commitments over Parents Weekend.
That brings the total number of seniors who will play at the next level to 26.
Mary Terhune (Novi, Mich.) will be a cross country and middle distance runner for the St. Lawrence University team next year. During track season she is expected to specialize in the 400, 800, or 1600 meters.
Beatrice Verrecchia (Firenze, Italy) will be on the women’s foil team at NCAA champion University of Notre Dame and Ana Ryskin (Rochester, Ind.) will join Brandeis University women’s saber team.
Ben Fleschler (Plainfield, N.J.) will continue the string of rugby players attending Furman University; Andrew Bishop (Lakewood, Ohio) will play for the University of Richmond Spiders; and Keepher Lampert (South Bend, Ind.) will play for the Notre Dame Rugby Club while attending neighboring Holy Cross College.
More announcements are expected as student-athletes continue to make their final college visits.
