Culver Military first-classman Grant Ralston scored two big individual wins for Culver Military Academy at the Warsaw Swimming Sectional on Feb. 21

Ralston (Winston-Salem, N.C.) won the 50-yard freestyle in 21.54 seconds, setting a new meet record in the process. His time was just tenths of a second off the CMA record.

He then captured the 100 freestyle in 48.01. Ralston will now travel to Indianapolis Friday evening for the preliminary round of the state finals. The state meet is conducted Friday and Saturday at the Indiana University-Purdue University Natatorium.

In the race for the team title, Culver Military Academy finished second behind Warsaw in the 13-team field.
