Event sells out, waitlist started
September 19, 2016

The Culver Parents Association’s Live the Legacy Auction, which takes place over Fall Parents Weekend, may be completely sold out, but parents, alumni, and friends may still join a waitlist to attend the highly-anticipated event.

There are also ongoing opportunities to support the effort via financial donation, donation of items for future events, or participation in the annual Online Spring Parents Auction in April.

This year’s auction event occurs Friday, Sept. 30, and will include, as in the past, opportunities for attendees to bid on unique items and experiences and enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and desserts during the evening. This year’s auction includes trips to Europe and China, rare Culver historical items, handmade gift baskets, and more.

Funds raised through the CPA auction, which takes place every two years, support the Culver Fund – the lifeblood of Culver Academies and Culver Schools & Camps’ outstanding academic programs, faculty, facilities, and scholarships.

Honorary Auction Co-Chairs Mike and Jan Wilcox and Co-Chairs Jana Baldwin and Cindy Krupp, were instrumental in bringing this year’s event to fruition, according to Julie Crews Barger, Culver’s Director of Parent Relations.

To join the waitlist for the Sept. 30 auction, contact Ben Nowalk. To contribute to the auction, support future events, or simply stay up-to-date, visit the Parents Auction website, Facebook page, or contact Julie Crews Barger or Nowalk.
