In what has become a Labor Day tradition, several units from Culver Academies participated in the Blueberry Festival Parade in nearby Plymouth. The festival is the largest four-day festival in Indiana, drawing more than 500,000 people over the weekend. More than 20,000 people, nearly double the population of the town, lined the streets for the parade and another 1,000 runners participated the Blueberry Stomp, which includes a 15K race, 5K race, and 1-mile family fun run. This year, the CGA Drill Team was named the top military unit – marching or motorized. The Band led the group, followed by the Friesian Color Guard and the Equestriennes, the Four Gun Drill, the CMA Honor Guard, and the CGA Drill Team. The Four Gun Drill also fired off the canon to start the Stomp.
