Culver Girls Academy forward Andrijana Cvitkovic received two more post-season honors on March 6 when she was named to the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association’s first-team All-State and invited to the top 60 seniors workout by Hoosier Basketball Magazine. The invited 60 seniors will practice at Marian University in Indianapolis on March 10.

The workout and the IBCA accolades are part of the run-up to the announcement of the Indiana All-Star team and Miss Basketball. Those players will then face the Kentucky All-Star team in a home-and-home series this summer. If Cvitkovic is selected, she will become just the second player in school history named to the All-Star team. Patricia Babcock McGraw was named Miss Basketball in 1990.

Cvitkovic, a 6-foot-2-inch forward from Kraljevica, Croatia, is a four-year starter for the Eagles and played on the Croatian national team during the U18 European Championships in 2012. Currently ranked as the 13th best forward in the nation by ESPN Hoopgurlz, Cvitkovic has signed a National Letter of Intent to play at the University of Dayton next season.

Earlier this season, she cracked the 1,000-point barrier for career scoring. She joins McGraw ’90 (2,199), Vanessa Jackson ’04 (1,619), and Kylee Shipley ’11 (1,215) in the club. The Eagles finished the season 13-9.
