In addition to Homecoming, the Culver community will be celebrating Lake Fest, with the parade scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday. Marching in the parade will be the Woodcraft Drum & Bugle Corps, the Upper School Color Guard, drill teams, the Summer Cavalry, and the international flag bearers.

On campus activities will include a lakeside reception for the Class of 1967 and Old Guard classes at the White-DeVries Rowing Center on Friday at 6:30 p.m. On Saturday, a 1:15 p.m. concert by the Naval Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Band will be held in Eppley Auditorium, with the Naval Band alumni being invited to join in on the final two songs.

Alumni will gather at 5:15 at the Naval Building for the Homecoming celebration dinner prior to the start of the Garrison Parade at 7 p.m. If you can’t attend, you can watch the parade live on the Culver Summer Schools and Camps’ Facebook page.

At 9:30, the Woodcraft Council Fire will be performed at the Council Ring. A post-parade rendezvous and bonfire back at the Naval Building, which starts at 8 p.m., will allow parents and alumni to enjoy the Lake Fest fireworks display over the lake at 10:15 p.m. Matt Record ’97, a singer, songwriter and acoustic guitarist based in Indianapolis will be playing classic rock, soul and Americana, throughout the evening.
