Culver Academies’ Friesian Mounted Color Guard has been invited to perform at the Horse World Expo in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, March 1-4. The color guard will be presenting the colors during the opening ceremonies and the salute to World War II veterans.

The Horse World Expo brings the nation’s leading equestrian clinicians and entertainers together for four days. It features hundreds of ventures, a series of educational seminars, family entertainment, stallion avenue, and breed demonstrations. Among the presenters is horse trainer and stuntman Tommy Turvey, who came to Culver for a clinic and two shows in 2011.

The expo will also feature Theatre Equus, a professionally choregraphed and scripted musical eq1uine revue, Friday and Saturday night. The Trail Champions Challenge, a timed obstacle course race, will be conducted Saturday morning.

The Horse World Expo will be conducted at the Farm Show Complex, 2300 North Cameron Street, Harrisburg. All the activities will be held indoors and will be heated. On-site parking is available.
