Remember to follow Culver Academies Global Pathways Spring students on their trips to Belize, China, Ireland, South Africa, and Mexico.
One example of the adventures the groups are experiencing is a sea turtle release in Mexico. The students participated in the release of 46 sea turtles, born two hours before. They released the hatchlings on the beach so they could walk to the ocean since it is vital for them to breathe in the air and strengthen their legs. The mature turtles can weigh up to 350 pounds and live up to 100 years. The students participated in the protected turtle release program at Barra, Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca.
Each group is blogging and sending photos of their adventures. Click here for more.
