Five former Culver Military hockey players are vying for a chance to play in the NCAA Frozen Four in Philadelphia on April 10 and 12, and three of them will meet in the first round Friday. All the games will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks.

Nic Dowd ’08 (jersey number 26), a forward for the St. Cloud State Huskies and a Hobey Baker Award nominee, will face David Gerths ’09 (10) and Jared Beers ’09 (29), who play for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The game is scheduled for 9 p.m. (EST) on Saturday, March 29, and will be seen on ESPNU or WatchESPN (online).

Cory Hibbeler ’08 (6), the captain of the Quinnipiac Bobcats, and his teammates will play Providence in the second game of the East Regional. The game is scheduled for Friday, March 28, at 5:30 p.m.

Dom Panetta ’09 (24) and his Ferris State Bulldog teammates will face Colgate in the first game of the Midwest Regional. The game is scheduled for Friday, March 28, at 4:30 p.m. It will be broadcast live on ESPN 3/WatchESPN (online) and then rebroadcast on ESPNU at 10:30 p.m.
