The Culver Military Academy football team will be traveling to East Noble High School for the second round of Class 4A, Sectional 19 play Friday. Game time is 7 p.m. (EDT). As an Indiana High School Athletic Association tournament game, tickets will be $6 each.

East Noble is located at 901 Garden St., Kendallville, Indiana 46755. The game will be carried live by Kendallville radio station WAWK 99.5 (The Hawk) and an audio stream is available on the station’s website.

Culver (9-1) advanced with 35-12 victory over previously unbeaten Northridge while East Noble (8-2) defeated host Plymouth, 14-13. That victory avenged a season-opening 22-18 loss to the Rockies. The wins earned each coach an honorable mention as Indiana high school coach of the week by the Indianapolis Colts. CMA’s Andy Dorrel was selected in District 2 and East Noble’s Luke Amstutz was named in District 3.

In the final polls of the regular season, the Eagles were ranked No. 9 in the IFCA Coaches’ Poll and No. 12 in The Associated Press Media Poll. The Knights were ranked No. 11 by the media and No. 14 by the coaches.

Friday’s winner will host the winner of the Angola-NorthWood game for the Sectional 19 championship on Nov. 3.
