Shaping Sound is an electrifying mash-up of dance styles and musical genres brought to life by a dynamic company of contemporary dancers. Created in 2012 by Emmy Award-nominated choreographers Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini, Teddy Forance, and Kyle Robinson, Shaping Sound features the exhilarating collaboration of dancers whose explosive choreography, dynamic rhythm, speed, and physical strength give shape and form to sound.
Wall is the runner-up in Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance and is currently a resident choreographer and judge for the show. Lazzarini was the season one winner of the show. Forance performed on seasons two and three of the show. Robinson has performed on Dancing with the Stars and played Diesel in West Side Story’s first national tour. The cast also includes dancers with extensive backgrounds on television and stage. The dance company also performed in singer Carrie Underwood’s Something in the Water video that made national entertainment news in November.
