There is also a luncheon hosted by the Culver Club of North Texas, which will be at noon on Saturday. Head of Schools Jim Power will be the featured speaker. To register for the events, please click here.
Celebrating 123 years, the legendary Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo begins Jan. 18 and runs through Feb. 9. The three-week event at Will Rogers Memorial Center features 36 rodeo performances, parades, livestock exhibits, a carnival midway, live music, and more.
The Fort Worth trip is the latest of Lancer and Equestrienne appearances at major events and parades in the United States – including 17 appearances in Presidential Inaugural Parades for the Lancers and eighth for the Equestriennes since 1985.
Other appearances include the World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Ky., the Pegasus Parade before the Kentucky Derby, and the Indianapolis 500 Festival Parade. The Black Horse Troop’s Friesian Mounted Color Guard recently appeared at the Breeder’s Cup in Louisville, Ky.
