March 4, 2015

A 2011 Culver Military Academy graduate from Champion, Pa., Dupre has the potential to make the United States Olympic Team in 2016.

Since graduation, Dupre (known as Pentecost when he attended Culver) has traveled to Malaga, Spain; Montreal, Canada; and Lonato, Italy for international competitions. In Italy, he won the 2014 Daniele Perazzi Challenge Cup, beating out 549 other shooters, including 12 past Olympic medalists.

This Culver photo of A.J. (right) and his brother Ian ’12 was taken after a high school meet in Sturgis, Mich., when they were members of the Culver trap and skeet team. A.J. won the regular trap competition and Ian won double trap.
