Culver Military Academy prep hockey player Karch Bachman ’15 will play in the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game on Thursday, Sept. 25. The 7 p.m. game at the First Niagara Center, home of the Buffalo Sabres, will be televised live on the NHL Network.
Bachman, from Wolcottville, Ind., is one of the 40 top American-born prospects eligible for the National Hockey League Entry Draft in the spring. Players selected to compete in the game are chosen by USA Hockey in conjunction with NHL Central Scouting. He will wearing No. 16 in the game.
A forward, Bachman is one of only three high school players selected to play. During the past season, he recorded 51 points on 36 goals and 15 assists in 41 games. He had 28 penalty minutes. He has verbally committed to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
