The CMA and CGA drill teams pose with Alex Master ’09 after the Purdue Army ROTC competition. CMA brought home the second place trophy.

The Culver Military Competition Drill Team finished in second place in the 40th annual Junior ROTC Drill Meet at Purdue University. It has been over eight years since the Drill Team has competed. It was the only non-Junior ROTC unit out of the 20 schools competing from all over the Midwest. The Drill Team is commanded by Captain Daniel Gaynor and the coach is SCPO Todd Wallingford.

The CGA Drill Team finished fourth in its division. Members of the Purdue Army ROTC oversee the drill meet, which is judged by by U.S. Army Reserve drill sergeants based in Chicago. Alex Master ’09 is a member of the Purdue Army ROTC and former member of the CMA Drill Team.
