A powerful story of redemption, Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, will come to Culver Academies’ Eppley Auditorium on Tuesday, Dec. 11. Part of the Huffington Concert Series, the play has been enchanting audiences around the world with its simple message of holiday joy.
Ebenezer Scrooge, an unrepentant miser, sees the light after surviving a merciless battery of revelations by the ghosts of his own life: Jacob Marley and the Christmas Spirits of Past, Present, and Future. Scott H. Severance, an award-winning 40-year theater veteran, plays Scrooge. He also adapted the script and directs the popular classic that includes 26 beloved traditional carols.
The Tuesday, Dec. 11 performance will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are now on sale at the Culver Academies’ Steinbrenner Performing Arts Center Box Office or by contacting Marsha Coven (firstname.lastname@example.org) or calling (574) 842-7058.
